Blessings of a Healer

By Sonja Bollnow

What makes a Healer?

One who is willing to let go of following a path of personal gratification and instead work with the whole, being in presence to and with the highest good of all.

What are the blessings of a Healer?

Joy, Peace, Harmony, Connection, Presence and Love. Not as a one way but a true two-way street. As you give so you receive, giving and taking becoming one and the same in one wonderful movement where there is no more or less, better or worse, you or me but where Unity is experienced at last.

Can you become a Healer over the course of a weekend?

Yes and no. When you’ve chosen to walk the path of service to all (including yourself) then you are taken into service right then and there. You’ve given the permission slip to be guided and you allow yourself to be guided. That’s a commitment and an ongoing path, not a learned skill over a 2.5-day course.

Becoming a Reiki II or Master is stepping into something greater. It’s a calling you’ve heard within you, even when only very faint. Thinking about it opens your heart and you know, even when you can’t put it into words, that you are meant to be a Healer because you are already one.

The Intensive Weekend for Reiki II and Master may be your second step. The first one was to become attuned to Reiki I and feeling the connection to Source Energy.

Once you’ve completed the Intensive Weekend, the path is one of walking your calling. With Reiki II you can still “check out”, being a part time Healer, so to speak. As an attuned Reiki Master you are in the energy all the time. You allow for things to unfold, to be guided, for the energy to take you where you are meant to be.

It’s a calling from the Soul that you say ‘yes’ to. How that looks in “real” life, won’t matter – you simply trust, let go and allow.
