Reiki is a gentle healing method which works by channelling loving energy through the hands to a receptive person. A person becomes a Reiki healer by receiving an attunement. This is a ritual whereby a person receives a set of sacred symbols into their Crown Chakra and is blessed by the Reiki Guides. This empowers a person to be able to channel energy through themselves from the Universal Source. The attunements are like signal boosters which make a higher energy level possible for us.

The beauty of doing Reiki is that it never depletes or tires you. Quite the opposite is true, since while you channel the energy, you receive it just as much as your “client”. The healing effects are there not only for your client but for you as well. A true “win/win” situation.

Reiki is not a religion and you do not have to believe in anything particular to make Reiki work. The knowledge comes from feeling the energy flow through you.
